The seven sports vying for two remaining places at the 2016 Olympics will present their cases to the International Olympic Committee today.

Baseball, roller sports, softball, golf, karate, squash and rugby (seven-a-side) are the seven sports competing to be admitted to the Olympic Programme. The IOC has set a limit of 28 sports in 2016, meaning the seven will fight over the last two available slots which will be voted on next year by IOC Members.

The leaders the sports will meet the IOC Commission today to present their cases. The final decision will be made at the IOC conference in October, 2009.
