Quattro media GmbH: o2 SURF MASTERS made a splash in their inaugural season

quattro media GmbH provided media coverage for the inaugural season of the o2 SURF MASTERS and helped raise the national profile of the new Rapid Surf series with news clips and digital out-of-home clips.

The inaugural o2 SURF MASTERS brought Germany's best Rapid Surfers together for five action-packed events at some of the Germany's most exciting standing waves. From indoor waves to artificial outdoor waves, the tour celebrated the diversity of the German surf scene while delivering high-level competition throughout the season.

To amplify the story beyond the water, we produced and distributed a News Cut alongside a series of Digital Out of Home (DOOH) clips, helping bring the excitement of the tour to audiences across Germany. Coverage included features on SWR, RBB, München TV and ARD Mittagsmagazin, while Sportschau.de dedicated its own feature to athletes and the new tour. quattro media is not only a trusted partner for international federations and global event series, but also supports national tours in achieving their goal of generating media value. 

The broad media presence also highlighted the increasing popularity of standing wave surfing and introduced the sport to a much wider audience. On the water, Marius Gerlach and Valeska Schneider emerged as the overall champions of the inaugural o2 SURF MASTERS season, capping off a successful debut year for Germany's newest national surf tour.

With five successful events, extensive national media coverage, and a strong foundation for future growth, the inaugural o2 SURF MASTERS proved that standing wave surfing has firmly established itself as one of Germany's fastest-growing action sports.
