Peru supports World Cup in Acre

According to the Peruvian president, with the choice of Acre, the citizens of his country could participate more closely the World Cup. "I want to register my support for the government of Acre in Rio Branco campaign to be one the host cities. Thus, we Peruvians can watch then the matches in front of our homes" said the president of Peru.

The city of Rio Branco is  running to be a host-city. The Minister of Sports Orlando Silva said at the beginning of the year it is very likely that Amazon has a city to host the Cup, which suggests that Rio Branco is in direct competition with the cities of Manaus (AM) and Belém (PA ).

The announcement of wich Host will be chosen by Fifa, is in 31 of May at the Bahamas.
