MEDIAMOUNTAIN and CCI launch SnowParks that combined the elements of Action-Filming-Sharing

The European leader of Outdoor advertising in ski resorts, MEDIAMOUNTIN B.V. from Amsterdam (NL) and the Marketing Consultancy CCI COTTING CONSULTING INC. from Switzerland have developed a world new concept for SnowParks that will be launched in Verbier (CH), Flims-Laax (CH), Sölden (A), Livigno (I) and Tignes (F) this coming winter season.

The SnowParks combine the elements of Action, Filming and Sharing. Whoever uses the SnowPark will be filmed automatically. The rider or skier can watch his performance immediately after his action on a Giant FullcolourScreen. He will not only experience his jump or action differently, but he will also get a clue how to improve it afterwards. „The SnowPark concept best combines new knowledge from academics and from best practice. It is a combination of experiences we got during the last years from Public Viewings, from LiveActs, from Community Marketing and generally from the Experience Economy“, says Patrick Cotting, the owner of CCI, who have worked out the concept together with
MediaMountain. „There is hardly a better scene than the Snowboard and Freeskier scene to try this world innovation out. We wanted to prove that the time of classical outdoor advertising in the ski resorts is over; the future relies in experiental marketing whereby not the billboard is in the core of an advertisers concept, but the action of the consumers. The concept therefore best summarizes what we call „empowering the consumer“.“

The Parks will start with a leading brand that is involved in snowboarding and freeskiing since many years. The brand is as innovative as the Parks concept and therefore has a great affinity with it. The partner will be announced shortly, together with information about what will be done in addition to make this Park for all visitors a „one in a lifetime“ experience. The SnowPark concept is the first result of the strategic partnership between CCI and MediaMountain. The two companies will continue to develop innovative concepts that bring a value-added to the visitors of mountain resorts and that implement theoretical concepts from the Experience Economy. New concepts are already in the pipeline to be released shortly. There are still presenting sponsorship packages available for the SnowParks. A package includes a full range of rights and benefits: from branding the Park, to ad message integration on the video clips, to the presence on the community website, to commercial spots on the giant screens and finally to the usage of the Park and to sampling rights inside the Park.
