Fifa confirms for the May 31 the announcement of the host cities

Of the 17 Brazilian cities, 12 will be chosen: São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Florianopolis, Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Goiânia, Campo Grande, Cuiaba, Rio Branco, Manaus, Belem, Salvador, Recife, Natal and Fortaleza.

 
In late January, a delegation of Fifa visited each of the organizing committee. Each city received a text with references to its history, both in social as in football.
