Tudor Pro Cycling Invests in Future with New Headquarters in Sursee

Just two and a half years after making their debut in the professional peloton - and only weeks after their first appearance in the Tour de France - Tudor Pro Cycling continues its rapid ascent by laying the foundations for a new home in Sursee. “What began with just 20 riders and 40 staff members has now grown into a team of 130,” said Swiss cycling legend Fabian Cancellara. “Today, we are racing in the biggest competitions in the world, while remaining committed to development. To support this growth and fulfill our long-term vision, we need to scale up our infrastructure."

Sursee, a city that has supported the Team from the beginning, plays a vital role in this next chapter. The involvement of both the village council as well as the authorities at the Canton of Lucerne made this project possible. “We are happy to see this new building dedicated to sport and healthy living taking shape right here in our community,” said Sabine Beck-Pflugshaupt, President of the city of Sursee. “It’s a space that will also help Sursee to shine in Switzerland and beyond our borders.”

“Our new home will be much more than a warehouse for bikes and vehicles,” said Raphael Meyer, CEO of Tudor Pro Cycling. “Like many top-tier sports organizations, we believe that a cycling team needs a home - a place where riders, mechanics, coaches, and staff can come together to prepare for the demands of the world’s toughest races.”

Designed in partnership with Goldbeck Rhomberg, the facility is more than just functional - it’s forward-thinking. “Together with Goldbeck Rhomberg, we’ve developed a pioneering concept that not only meets the needs of a professional sports team but also considers the expectations of fans and the local community,” said Meyer. “It also sets a new benchmark for environmental sustainability, being DGNB Gold certified, one of the highest standards buildings can reach.”

The 18 million, five-story and 10’000-square-meter building will be located at Zeughausstrasse in Sursee and will also feature a public zone inviting fans into the Team's world, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes access and interactive experiences.

Tudor Pro Cycling new headquarters are scheduled to open in the first semester of 2027, as the Team will enter its fifth season in the pro peloton.
