The Intel® Extreme Masters in Katowice, one of the most prestigious events in the esports industry, will take place on February 10-12, 2023 in the Spodek Arena in Katowice. Ticketmaster has partnered with ESL FACEIT Group to deliver the ticketing technology in Ticketmaster’s first foray into the esports industry.
The ESL FACEIT Group has been leading the esports and gaming scene for over two decades. In that time its brands have driven esports and gaming forward, helping make esports the fastest-growing entertainment choice on the planet.
They are responsible for prestigious competitions including IEM Cologne and IEM Rio Major. The main goal of their ESL brand is to create a world where everybody can be somebody.
Intel® Extreme Masters is the longest-running pro-gaming tournament and the events are part of the ESL Pro Tour, an open ecosystem that connects all ESL tournaments related to a specific game. Teams and players compete as part of the ESL Pro Tour to gain higher positions in the system and finally receive the Champions title of a given title.
During IEM Katowice, the best players of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) and StarCraft® II participate to ultimately be crowned respectively Champion and World Champion.
