KEY EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a specialized field relevant to the industry, highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of corporate management experience, ideally in a startup environment.
Fluent in English and German, with conversational proficiency in French, advantageous for international business dealings and cross-border partnerships.
Demonstrated experience in handling corporate responsibilities, including accounting, and financial oversight.
Proven track record in preparing and conducting board and advisory meetings, with a focus on governance and compliance issues.
Advanced financial acumen, including budgeting and financial planning.
Experience in managing and coordinating accounting functions, including oversight of external accounting firms.
Proven ability to generate and interpret financial reports for senior management and board members.
Expertise in managing and streamlining office operations for optimal efficiency.
Experience in corporate governance.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, suitable for senior leadership and board-level interactions.
Ability to communicate complex financial and operational information clearly and effectively.
Highly tech-savvy with strong working knowledge of accounting software, project management tools, and board portal technologies.
Strong ability to adapt to rapidly changing business conditions, common in startup environments, and pivot strategies as needed.
Additional Qualifications:
o Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Financial Management (CFA, CPA), or Corporate Governance are a strong plus.
o Experience in multi-cultural settings and confident at navigating the global landscape, particularly in the sports sector.
