Beschreibung
Pursuing the vision to be Europe’s greatest ice hockey competition, the Champions Hockey League (CHL) provides 24 teams from 11 leagues with the platform to go beyond and to battle in a total of 101 games from August to February to be Champions of Europe. Teams qualify for the CHL on pure sporting merits via their domestic leagues. CHL games are currently broadcasted in 30+ territories with longterm contracts in core markets. Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, the Champions Hockey League AG is the company holding all rights of the competition and organising the event. 63% of the company shares are owned by the 26 Founding Clubs, 25% belong to the 6 Founding Leagues and 12% are held by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF.
